All Bytes of Learning products are compatible with all major network systems. Multi-station licenses permit installation on network servers and may be operated from there as an alternative to local installation. Licenses are not concurrent. Please indicate the file server operating system so we can provide any special suggestions.

Configuration Required

Online: Software is operated using a browser.

Standalone: Software is installed locally and used independent of other installations. No centralized file storage or record management is required.

Standalone Plus: Software is installed locally or operated from a file server. Files are stored in individual user workspaces on the network server. Integrated class reports and class management are not required.

Network IP (UltraKey): Software is installed locally or operated from a file server. A separate server application is installed on the lab, school or district server to manage user data, option settings and custom content. Data management occurs seamlessly across local area networks, wide area networks, and/or Internet.

Laptops: Software is installed on laptop computers owned by the school or district and loaned to students for off-site use.

Distance Education: Software is distributed to users who install the application on their personal computers. In the case of UltraKey, learning is managed using UltraKey's IP-based server software, communicating seamlessly through the Internet.

Lending copies: CDs are loaned to students or clients for short term use. The software operates from the CD-ROM and is not installed on the user's computer.

Purchased copies: Students purchase single licensed copies of the software through the school, district, region or department.

Other: The software will be used in a combination of situations or in some other special circumstance. (Describe your needs in the box provided.)
